They can do a number of things from here:
1) Don't merge, work underground. This would probably preserve any social relationships they have but be a bit harder in terms of rush and housing situations but once nationals tries to recolonize in a few years have their guys try and be founders. Long shot.
Try to Merge with:
1) Sigma Chi or DU: probably a decent option since they're pretty mid but are probably looking to grow their numbers again after recent events.
2) Lower mid: I'd look at Snu (Oxford house, shows potential, great parties) or Phi Delt (next door, solid PCs recently). Can't see an ATO merger. TDX might be a decent option but it's a state street house. It would be interesting to see how sorority relations would change post merger, probably wouldn't be as good as before.

It would be a very bad decision. KS never had a good reputation on campus and was NEVER a top house.
