Real response: you’re probably fine. Michigan is a very liberal university, so most people won’t have an issue. Those who do wouldn’t say so out of fear of retribution from others for bigotry since they’re the minority. That doesn’t mean that rush still won’t be be based on attractiveness for you. If you’re not attractive enough for kappa/axo you won’t get in.

honestly the lower tier srats would probably be friendlier and overall more welcoming than one that is higher up. not sure if you're looking for status or to actually make friends but maybe don't shoot them down & wait until you actually meet them during recruitment
regardless of rank umich greek life is fairly selective and all of the sororities have a pretty good reputation.
