Can you store stuff at Sorority over summer?

This may not be right place to post. I will move into my sorority next year but am wondering if it's common to be able to store items in the house over the summer. Trying to avoid storage cost.

Mine did, as long as your room was not getting rented out to a sister who chose to live-in over the summer
