AXO and TriDelt Legacy. Will it help?

My mother was in AXO at a different school, but my great Grandmother was a TriDelta at UofM. I will be honest, I do like axo a little more than tridelt (I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t get into either), but regardless, will being a legacy benefit me?

having a great grandmother go to college, let along be a part of tridelt, is actually quite the feat. If youre naturally pretty and have travelled to at least 3 continents, and you let them know your great grandmother was in tridelta+prove it, you’ll get right in. AXO legacies require a letter, so your mom would have to write one, but it may come off as biased.

most chapters nationally have gotten rid of legacy policies in order to support DEI efforts

both of these sororities have gotten rid of their legacy consideration nationally. you can mention it as a talking point if u want but it will not be taken into account on whether or not you’d join them

It's good to mention it during rush, but it will NOT automatically get you the bid. Just keep that in mind.
