FYI for rushes:
Affiliated frats have to follow ifc rules like sober pledges wear orange shirts, no hard alcohol, and u can’t officially rush until winter. imo it’s better to be in a disaffiliated frat if u had the choice

Affiliated frats have sobers at parties, but can have hard alcohol present unless SRC comes.

Affiliated fraternities are still worth the sober parties because their dues are half as expensive as disaffiliated ones and they have protection from cops on campus.
