rushing by region?

Do houses mostly take girls based on where they are from/went to high school? I am
coming from oos (miami FL) and the only girls i know in sororities here are in kappa and chi o but i did not really like them or know them too well in high school. i was hoping to branch out, too. will i probably end up in one of those houses though?

phi / tridelt- shockingly pretty regionally diverse. girls from everywhere
kappa- mostly rich east or west coast (ny, philly, la, etc) w a few RICH midwesterners sprinkled in
skrappa- a lot of in state with california and east coasters mixed in
axo- good regional mix but a lot of west coast
dg- in state / east coast
adpi- a lot of in state with some east coast
chi o- east coast mostly
aephi- long island, westchester, jersey, south florida, la
sdt- same as aephi with a few in staters
zeta- a lot of instate but mixed
pi phi- pretty mixed
kd- who knows
dphie- east coast / in state
agd / aopi- no idea

that’s what i thought, thanks!! I just know sororities tend to recruit girls they know from high school so i didn’t want to be discounted just because i don’t have connections!
