winter rush

I didn't get a bid at the fraternity I wanted, and am thinking about winter rush.

How hard is it to get a bid in the winter from Chi Psi, Pi Kapp, DU, or Sigma Chi? How many people do they normally take?

What can you do to stand out during winter rush?

Can I re- rush a fraternity I didn't put too much time into (and was consequently rejected from)?

I guess it depends. Do you think they would even remember you the second time around? Either way I suppose it can't hurt. Don't suicide rush though.

None of those houses are very exclusive.

All the houses you named are pretty solid middle tier. they all take winter pledges, my guess is du and pikapp take more since sigma chi and chi psi have pg partners, but it changes year to year. Maybe try rushing two or three of those next winter, then narrow it down

What about sig ep?

Also, I think the one thing that hurt me a lot during rush was that I tried to avoid talking about drinking and partying. I thought it would make me seem like a try hard. What are good things to talk about?
