alpha gamma delta- good house?
by: confusedI really like the people in the Alpha Gamma Delta, and I was thinking of picking them over others. But, I saw the ratings for the house, and now I m so confused. Should I join them because it is a personal pref.? Or should I go for the others?

What other houses are still on the table for you? It'll depend on that. Also depends on what you're going for in sorority membership. Do you want a house with a great rep at umich only, a house with a great national rep that you can be involved in as an alum, the company of sisters you click with best, access to parties, etc? Each sorority will ofter something slightly different. Obviously AGD doesn't have the greatest reputation at umich still, and nationally they are mostly known as a lower tier house (depends on the university but this seems to be the general trend) BUT if you feel the most at home with the sisters there none of that will matter as much.

You should definitely go with where you feel comfortable! Each house has their stereotypes, but a lot of them are outdated. I would say that AGD's stereotypes are definitely outdated. It'll be about the individual girls that you clique with in the house that you choose, not what other people think about them!
