what sororities do cob?
by: AbcdefgI didn’t rush this winter because I have a lot on my plate and was feeling really stressed. But now that I’m seeing how everyone is in a sorority, I think I want to cob. I have a lot of friends in a lot of different houses, though most are the ones you guys might consider the “top” houses. In other words, those houses are the only ones I really have pull with. Will it be at all possible to do cob with one of those houses if I have friends in them? If not, which ones have you heard of doing cob? Thanks!

AGD has already gotten word they are COBing
GPhi also seems to have extended some COB bids to women they really liked during recruitment but dropped out before prefs.
If you are a freshmen, don’t even bother trying to COB Top tiers this year if your friends in them are freshmen. They won’t have any pull until they are initiated. But, you can email the Chapter Presidents and Recruitment Chairs asking if they are having COB and if you could meet with them for a coffee date. They don’t necessarily have to have a scheduled COB to COB members. As long as a house is under total they tend to be willing to at least meet an interested PNM.

Although you may know some of the pledges, you likely don't know the members yet and that's who you'd meet as part of the COB process. It would be a good time to be involved as you'd likely fall right in with the winter pledges and have a great group to join right away.

Which ones are the “top tiers” that I should just not even try for?
