You'll get it. Suiciding won't increase your chances of getting your top house obviously. But if it isn't one of the more competitive houses, then you'll get it. And if you really don't want the other one, then drop it. Good luck!

Follow your heart. Suiciding can work. It’s not a guarantee but nothing is in the process. If you definitely are not into your 2nd option and are certain you would not be happy just take the chance on your preferred choice and hope it works.

Something to keep in mind: this is a mural selection process. The houses you have back wanted you, but those who dropped you didn’t. I know that that can be hard to hear but the process aims so you are getting invited back by the people who want you. Be open minded today and feel free to express that you are upset. Be honest at your houses today and tell them what you are thinking. Ask them questions! Remember that there are people who didn’t think they’d like a house and are now super happy. Try to remain positive. But nonetheless if at the end of the day you can’t see yourself in the house then think about what you want to do.

If you are 100 percent sure you can’t see yourself in the other house you can certainly do that. It does not increase your chances of getting your top choice though. Just be prepared for the chance that you don’t get a bid at all. It does happen and you have to be good with that outcome as well.

Can work but you were not guaranteed a bid. I think it’s safer to rank the one you want first. If you get the second choice, you can always give it a try. You have barely met a fraction of the girls in that house. Surely there are girls in the house that you would click with better than the ones you’ve talked to during rush. Also, you’ll be joining that house with a pledge class of dozens of other girls, and you’ll be spending the most time with them anyway. You may find people there that you click with better than the people that you’ve met already in the house through rush. If you do that and it doesn’t work out you can always drop before initiation, and still be able to get a bid next year if you want to try it all again.
