winter sorority rush

I’m a freshman girl thinking about rushing in the winter and I was wondering are there any sororities not accepting new pledges for the winter ? And is sorority hazing at umich a thing ? I wanna what I’m getting myself into.

All sororities need members and are required to take this winter. I’ve heard rumors of some hazing in the upper tiers but it’s nothing like what you hear about frat hazing and is no where as frequent/intense. Most don’t haze
