welcome week parties

What's the best way to get into welcome week parties? I live on an all guys floor and I'm out of state so its really hard for me to meet girls or use connections to get in? Also, is it weird to go to a few houses during the day and just introduce myself?

Go early and don't bring too many guys with you. It's welcome week so the parties are open and not too hard to get into. Tell them you are interested in rushing and that could increase your chances of getting in.

It's not too weird to visit houses before rush and introduce yourself. This way the brothers can get to know you better and you have an advantage during rush.
