pledge looking to drop and rush again
by: FreshmanI'm a pledge rn and I don't really like my PC. I'm thinking about dropping but I still want to be in a fraternity. Would it be impossible to get a bid in the winter if a house knows that I dropped? Also, would they have any way of finding out other than word of mouth?

Winter rush is a lot more about connections than fall rush so keep that in mind. Also really think how important being in Greek life is to u because the majority of people I know that dropped last fall didn’t get into the new places they wanted to be in and aren’t in Greek life. Which is totally fine as long as u want to accept the risk.

Are you friends with brothers? Try to find a way to stay through it. You made it this far. You won’t always like everyone in your pc but try to get close with at least 4 or 5 of them. Go get food together. Walk to class. Do fun things to get closer. Once you’re initiated you’ll have more options regarding people to hang out with.
