Sororities don't really haze. Maybe some minor psychological stuff in the top tiers at the most. On average, the girls in the higher tier sororities are going to be more conventionally attractive. So looks DO kind of matter (so does your family's money), but there is more variation within SRats than between them with regard to looks. How you fit into the SRat is what is most important with regard to whether or not you will be offered a bid, and also should be the most important factor in deciding what bid to accept in order to have the best experience, as every sorority is going to have 2-4 frats that they mix with which are all going to have a lot of great guys in them.
