hometown by frat

Are there frats that take kids from certain areas more than others like Birmingham and Bloomfield or New York and Chicago?

I think that's more of a sorority thing. And it isn't so much the sorority culturally, as individual members. If you have a lot of sisters from a certain area at one time, they are gonna be more inclined to value a PNM being from that area.

there's several frats that tend to pull kids from certain areas (and frats that recruit from really diverse areas) too, but it really is just more of individual girls knowing PNMs coming in. for example if you went to northville or NDP or something and start college with older friends in sororities, they can vouch for you in some ways (or cut you if you're known to be mean)
