if i’ve been cut from the frats i was rushing...

Can I still try and rush any of the other frats I didn’t have a chance to go to because I was rushing the other ones? Or can I rush again next semester? Or is it just too late

How do you find out that you've been cut? Yes you can always rush next semester, though it will be more competitive. Also there are some houses offering additional open house this Wednesday. Check them out if you are interested.

It WAS... but now with freshmen “officially” able to rush in winter I’d expect it to be more competitive

Huh? Freshman rushed fall. Check ifc and aaifc.

Definitely go to some other frats. Try to meet as many guys as possible. If it doesn't work out this fall, try again in the winter, and try to get to know more guys in frats before then. Good luck!
