deferred recruitment

The university notified presidents in the IFC that they will be mandating deferred recruitment and and they plan on actually enforcing it, but they said they have no way to try and enforce it on the AAIFC, does that mean all the fraternities are going to join the AAIFC, or will those fraternities all just rise to the upper tiers since they get first pick of all freshman?

From the people I've talked to it sounds like everyone is just waiting to see what everyone else does in the ifc and nobody is gonna leave until next year when they see how much better aaifc is

What I heard is that the AAIFC fraternities plan on taking huge PCs and might just not do winter rush so that they can take as many of the top freshman as they can

Hahaha no the university can’t do anything and ifc already said they’re still going to do fall rush for freshman. Nothing is changing

The university can only remove a chapter’s status as a student org and suggest that the ifc remove a chapter and ifc has already told chapters they won’t do that so... lol. Anybody who tells you next year will be different is some desperate aaifc rush chair lmao
