does cob for sororities ever officially end or does it continue throughout the semester quietly?

Depends on the chapter and the year. Most chapters are done this week or are already done, but chapters can continue through the semester if they have the spots and want to continue taking members. however, i'd assume most sororities also have pledging events/initiations scheduled for this semester already and have their deadlines set before those.

Although COB never really technically ends, most places will be having their initiations throughout the week this week and then stop looking after that
