Should I try again with the same house that I didn't get a callback from or just forget them and go to a new house. I feel like it's too late now to try for another mid/top house where I didn't go to the first open house.

There’s always possibility to get invited to events even if you show up to only the second open house. Frats expect new people to roll through their second OH.
