why is aoii bottom tier??

Combination of things - their dues are on the expensive end, though not more expensive than dg or sdt, they’re all about the same. They’re a newer chapter so they have fewer girls who are experienced recruiters as well as fewer girls overall (they colonized with like 110 great & involved girls, but that just isn’t enough with how michigan recruitment works). Also PNMs tend to get caught up in the hype and the gossip of rush. However I’ve seen them COBing around campus and it looks like they’re getting great girls. I really think bottom tier doesn’t mean anything much, I’ve met super cool/chill/pretty girls in all of them.

Any qualified student looking for her sorority home should participate in COB/informal recruitment, which is often more relaxed and natural than formal recruitment. Every group on campus offers a place to be a leader among other strong women. While every NPC groups offers an exceptional experience there is wide variety of personalities between homes, so any student ought to be able to locate her one 'forever home' among our gems.

honestly as someone who just went through fall rush, it was because they had to rush in groups of 1 aoii on 2 PNMs which was awkward for PNMs and was essentially a sign that it must not be a sorority many girls wanted. They were nice but the rush style really bothered PNMs

Like the first person said, their dues were insanely expensive the first year they colonized causing a lot of members to drop. From that point on they have been struggling with retention since girls aren't getting the experience they hoped for with low numbers and finances. Lots of really nice down to earth girls though it sucks that that happened
