how do mixers work?

by: Mixers

How come bottom-mid tier sororities will mix with upper-mid tier frats (i.e. pi phi and theta xi) but bottom-mid tier frats never mix with bottom sororities (i.e. dtd and agd)? The gap between bottom-mid tier and bottom is closer then upper-mid and bottom-mid, so this would make most sense right?

It really just depends on the social chairs and where they have connections/who they're friends with

Bottom line because its probably easier socially being in a bad sorority than fraternity. 40 something frats compared to 20 sororities so frats are always looking for someone. Also the guys at Michigan are better than the girls meaning that girls have a lot to choose from when guys not so much. Michigan greek life is also pretty divided tho

not really..based on ur example, pi phi has also mixed with tdx (lower tier) and dg with dtd..whole tier thing is dumb, you’ll find people you vibe with in any frat/sorority
