So clearly nobody on this thread is from anywhere near california. I'm a "rich girl" from LA and literally nobodies parents send emails to get them into Ivies, unless they already go to Oaks Christian, Harvard Westlake, or another prestigious private school. I went to Samohi, and I go to Michigan, and all of my friends went to Uc's, cal states, and some even went to Arizona... maybe like two people from my class went to ivies. And santa monica high school is one of the best/wealthiest public schools in the nation, lol so this is innacurate.
