is it worth rushing as a sophomore

Long story short, I got sick and had to miss the invite only events for rush. Since I hadn't met all the guys, they told me they weren't able to give me a bid. It's a huge blow for me, since I was looking forward to joining a house and meeting a lot of people this semester. At this point, is it still worth it to rush as a soph, since they have even less of a chance of getting bids? And is it worth the whole "being a servant to kids your age" as well?

I say go for it. I know a lot of guys who rushed in the fall as sophomores and they are very happy in the houses they ended up in.

Agreed. If you're cool and you fit in, you should have no problems getting a bid.
