transgender pnms

I'm posting here because I understand Michigan panhel had experience with a transgender pnm this past fall. I am at another school on the west coast and we have had a few transgender pnms register for spring cob. As a panhel we have never dealt with this issue and so are reaching out to see how this issue was handled at Michigan. Any help would be appreciated. As a point of reference our national organizations have been less than helpful in addressing this situation.

To the best of my understanding, she was treated like any other PNM. I don't know that you need to do anything special.

Panhel never needs to deal with transgendered PNMs because they all go to SigEp

Actual recruitment is treated like any other PNM, but not all organizations have it stated in their personal chapter's bylaws that transgendered individuals can have membership. However, a lot of them don't say that they can't have membership either. It's a very grey area because these occurrences are fairly new in the community.
