how much does dirty rush impact my chances?
by: newgirlI'm a freshman girl and I knew very little about greek life before coming to college. I am planning on rushing, but I am hearing more about how many girls get bids, or are basically accepted by sororities before rush even begins. My question is: do I have any chance of getting a bid if I don't meet/interact with a lot of upperclassmen before rush, and if dirty rushing is a big factor, how do I go about getting to know the sororities and their members in the fall?

there's a good discussion post buried somewhere in here about how to dress/behave/be your best self before and during recruitment. Sororities want girls that are fun, funny, outgoing, awesome, whatever, but because we only meet you for like maybe 10 minutes, especially during the first rounds, putting your best foot forward is definitely important.
