by: froshim going to be a freshman next year and absolutely want to be in a sorority. how likely is it for girls not to get bids at all? dont have any preference on a house just want to be a part of a sisterhood.

it happens, unfortunately.
but the good news is it's more likely to happen during the first two rounds when all the houses drop A LOT of girls that don't mesh with the spirit of the house and would be happier elsewhere (even if elsewhere is outside the Greek system). after that, it's more about ranking the rushees to ensure that your favorite girls are at the top of your list so you get them before someone else does.
luckily for potential new members, since adpi is new, they don't have the numbers yet to have a large release figure, which means they'll be able to drop fewer girls and thus fewer girls will be dropped from recruitment on the whole.

It seems like you have an open mind which is good. The girls who tend to get released from every house go into rush with a specific house in mind. When they try too hard at that house and have a bad attitude in the other houses, they get dropped. If you have a good attitude and trust the process, you'll end up in the perfect place for you :)

that's a sweet sentiment and probably how it should work, but that's not entirely accurate. Girls that are heavy and/or unattractive tend to be dropped - unless they make up for it by being hysterically funny.
that being said, girls that come in with a bad attitude thinking they're too good for any houses but the top three often find themselves with nowhere to go come bid day.
