really now trying to sound rude but while going through recruitment I have never felt more awkward than I did with dphie.... they were all about body positivity but it came off as a bit of body shaming. we were asked to write like an insecurity and I couldn’t think of one and the girl literally said “you’re obviously not plus size so this will be hard for you” like ? I’m sorry but everyone has their own insecurities. anyway, they are not welcoming girls and keep to themselves and don’t go out of their way to help other sororities

People like to hate on this sorority because they’re the “weird” sorority, which basically means that they’re unique and different from one another. They’re not “hot” or about looks. They all look different and are accepting of all women. They’re national org even has a transgender policy that allows trans women to rush them. Overall their sisterhood is probably the best on campus, and they’re actually super sweet and care deeply about their cause and sisterhood. Give them a fair shot, and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Chapter has been showing more life this year—a bit more involved. Know lots of girls in all the sororities and this one has some of the same positives and same negatives as the others.

This is a terrible sorority. DO NOT JOIN. My best friend just recently disaffiliated and was only there for one semester. While she was there, she has been extremely unhappy. This sorority is specifically known to be excepting of everyone, but that is the exact opposite. She has been body shamed and constantly put down. Girls are constantly being yelled at by older sisters to attend events while half of the time the girls who are yelling aren’t even there. There is so much drama within their leadership. You can constantly hear girls talk about how they don’t want to be at their own events, but they are there just because they have to be. This sorority is the exact opposite of sisterhood because everyone just talks negatively about each other . These girls are not classy at all. If you want true sisterhood, join any other sorority except this one.

They all have different personalities, which I think makes it unique. You see a lot of sorority sisterhoods that the girls look all the same. So much so that it's hard to tell the difference between them. Dphie girls are unique. Some are interested in theatre, some sports, some are cadets, etc. Each girl brings something different to the sorority and I think that's why it's the amazing sorority that it is. If you go through recruitment be sure to keep an open mind for them. You won't be disappointed.

These women work so hard on campus and I can see that. I enjoyed their informal recruitment events. I think that their karaoke night was a lot of fun, although they were definitely comfortable with each other. I am looking for that in the sisterhood I decide to join. I don't want to feel like I need to put on a face in order to be accepted in with open arms. I truly loved this experience. 10/10 would recommend for anyone willing to look beyond the surface and see what they're all about.

Every one of these women put their all into everything that they attend. They might not all be extroverts, but they are some of the most passionate women I've ever met.

Never met a sweeter group of girls. They are so accepting and are easy to talk to. They also really seem to love each other! Can’t wait to go to more of their events!

I really love this sorority. Even though I know a lot about them they make every girl feel welcome. All of them are approachable and so sweet. They have done so many events already. These girls also know how to talk to people as well.

Really clique-y sorority that needs to step it up with involvement. Usually have the least amount of sisters show up to panhellenic events and the sisters that do show up huddle around each other. I’ve heard that leadership isn’t the best and sisters aren’t really supportive of one another. That’s pretty sad.
