how important are grades to sororities?

Grades are extremely important to sororities. Except for ADPi, no sorority will accept below 3.0 and most below 3.5
High GPAs are essential!

honestly sororities only look at gpa the first round, if you make it through that they don't matter anymore. and no matter what, if a girl you talk to really likes you first round she won't drop you just because of your gpa

because my major is a gpa killer...while a ton of girls in sororities major in easier things....guess i wont be rushing :(

Nothing ventured nothing gained. Put yourself out there. Rush is a little like real life... Like interviewing for a job. Some will hate you, others will like you. Your the same person in both cases. If your a freshman, you should be taking mostly general courses and your major shouldn't be that big a factor. You need to slough off the rejections and concentrate on the positive. Go for it! Otherwise, maybe, you really aren't ready for Greeks or life.
