big 10 greek life

The answer.....WE SUCK. IU, UMICH, PURDUE, PSU, OSU, UI Greek Life is a lot older, bigger and stronger in comparison to UMS and Rutgers. Most of the Big Ten schools have die-hard Alumni that give generously to both School and Greek Life. It would have been better if UMD stayed in the ACC conference, where our Greek Life is more in-line with those school's Greek Life.

They definitely are a lot better but if our academics were as easy as SOME of those schools we would go just as hard, we just got ranked top 15 public schools in the nation.

there are perks to not having such insane Greek life, UMich has had huge scandals that we have not, same with Iowa. It makes the school and its Greek life look bad, and the school retaliates by coming down on Greek life like a lead weight. We've already lost a fraternity and have a lot fewer than others. But I agree, it would be nice if ours was stronger and more dominant. We've got the numbers for it for sure.

we lack attractive girls in our greek life compared to other schools, at und we probably sit at about a 1:10 ratio for attractive girls compared to the rest of the girls at our school. You go to Ole Miss, Bama, or Usc and tell me I'm wrong

Greek Life at the SEC schools are a hell of a lot BETTER than any of the conference schools in the country. Houses are much bigger (phyiscally) and the size of the greeks (both Fraternities & Sororities) are anywhere from 115 to over 200+, and yes, the girl are way HOTTER than the girls in the Northeast/ East Coast Region.
