The problem with being a top top tier sorority is you must mix with the top top two fraternities. If they go to other fraternities they are ‘slumming it’. Their words, not mine. However, if you’re in a top sorority or top mid sorority, you get to mix with more fraternities. I mean, after a while, even the top two fraternities want ‘fresh meat’. Their words, not mine.

it’s strange, dsig has the best relations but the worst parties out of the frats on their tier

Agree! You will even see some of those frats like KA and sig chi (both fell off so kinda makes sense so they’re trying to get more relations) social with solid middle tiers like gphi and sig chi as well as ka and aoii. Dsig with kd and theta. axid with snu and phi delt. Etc
