does rush week start monday?

I went to the fraternity meet and it said that it starts September 4th and I was wondering if the events tommrow will be more open?

most frats have already started unofficial rush (people know kids from home who want to rush) so they get invited through there. official rush starts after meet the greeks and everybody just crowds in
