University of Maryland, College Park - UMD 3.0 For a state school UMD has some subpar Greek Life but that's due to the strictness set by the University and College Park. UMD has pretty diverse greek life compared to most schools but other than that UMD is the epitome of average for Frats and Sororities.

University of Maryland, College Park - UMD 2.5 its alright when your a freshmen but it gets old real quick. Parties suck now as they are just basement parties and the city is actively trying to clamp down on greek life. Your better off going to the bars instead

University of Maryland, College Park - UMD 3.5 Its not bad here but its not as big as other schools. its fun and lowkey but the selection process for frats versus sororities is so different. the sororities are so selective and there were several girls who didnt get bids anywhere, even a bunch of girls from 2020 rush who were legacies didn't get bids. Frat rush is a lot more chill. if you know someone in it, chances are you'll get a bid. Greek life here is fun its just not huge.

Frat rush is a lot more chill. if you know someone in it, chances are you'll get a bid. Greek life here is fun its just not huge.

University of Maryland, College Park - UMD 2.0 There’s really no competition in Maryland Greek life. If you rush, you’ll get in. Fraternities seem to give bids to ANYONE because the frats are all so small, and they need members to get bigger. I don’t know how the whole sorority scene works, but it’s sub-par. Overall.... pretty weak Greek life

University of Maryland, College Park - UMD 2.5 Greek life overall is pretty weak. Parties aren't that good - it's the same old zelko, sometimes a good theme, and party is limited to a TINY basement. it's really a joke of a party school.
