social issues / diversity

by: lll

which chapter do you think has done the best job of discussing social issues and diversity on their social platforms / Instagram? Kappa is the only one I see who has actual posts about it so I’m curious what everyone thinks

Look at the diversity of the chapters, not just the instagram…. Kappa is one of the blondest and whitest chapters.

Since you’re obviously the same person. Are you suggesting Kappa hires diverse girls to be on their Insta to fake people out? Or is it that to be non-white, they have to look a certain way for you to count them?

they curate their feed to look diverse when that’s not really an accurate representation of their chapter. not to say they don’t have girls who aren’t blonde and white, but you can look through their tagged photos to see what the majority of their chapter looks like

I have to say, I was really impressed with what Theta did during Pride. They didn't simply make a post with a rainbow background, but they actually featured LGBTQ+ sisters and had them share their stories. I'm not usually a huge Theta fan - but I thought that was awesome.
