sigma nu legacy

I will be attending UCLA next fall. I am a double legacy of Sigma Nu. According to friends who already attend UCLA and sites like this i understand Sigma Nu has a horrible reputation. I don't want to join a fraternity I am ashamed of . Everywhere I look and from my friends already at UCLA I am told Sigma Nu is on a downward spiral. I am thinking instead of checking out top fraternities on the rise like Lambda Chi Alpha and ZBT. Can any one fill me in on Sigma Nu, Lambda Chi Alpha and ZBT?
