lower standards for upper class men?

by: benchef

Are there lower standards for upperclassmen? Every time I see a trog sporting her ew bid shirt from a top sorority I notice she's an upperclassmen who just went through rush. Do sororities have lower expectations for upper class girls ? What gives ? Besides AGD's waist sizes

It's actually harder upperclassmen are not really wanted at any house

When I went through sorority rush at UCLA in the late 80s, upperclassmen were at a huge disadvantage. The houses all wanted freshmen, maybe a few sophmores. Now, there is a quota, where UCLA sororities are required to take a certain number of upperclassmen. That means, pretty, accomplished transfer students actually are desired at "top houses" Didn't used to be the case.

Wow that's really interesting. Would sophomores qualify as upperclassmen and be counted towards this quota ? Would this mean accomplished sophomores would have an advantage over juniors or seniors since they'd be in the house longer ?
