Theta Chi - ΘΧ Fraternity at University of California, Los Angeles - UCLA 1.0 The Theta Chi Fraternity residence was found in a controversy disrespecting the AFSCME 3299 Union Workers. Filmed on October 24th, 2018, people in this organization's residence were drinking and filming someone holding a AFSCME picket sign, moving their arms up and down as one would do in a demonstration. The UC workers, this week (October 22-28) went on strike to demand liveable wages a basic human right. As a prospect member who was thinking about joining this organization, I completely felt disrespected as a first-generation student who's mother supports my education through cleaning restrooms and homes. I hope this organization can address this issue publicly.
