Have friends in this house and have seen it grow a LOT over the past year and a half- from 11 to almost 50 members. I know they're bringing in a lot of chill, well-rounded guys and would be shocked if they don't bring in at least 20 pledges in fall.

Ellis just described UCLA circa 1999. So yes, a bit has changed, actually: Alpha Phi has been at the top for the past 4-5 years. AEPhi went from being selective (but better than KD) to tiny and by far the worst house on campus, until they closed this year. Tri Delt took a nosedive about 5 years ago. KD and Gamma Phi have moved up. Kappa had a rough couple of years (didn't make quota, etc.), but are back on top. And... Pi Phi has moved downward slowly over the past 5 years. They still have some hotties who know how to party, but they seem to have sacrificed personality and retention for it.

Idk, but the amount of effort they have put in for their EDC quarterly beats many other houses. They need more numbers but they do put effort for parties when they have em. This house is going up

I graduated a few years ago and was a Kappa. However, when I was at UCLA, Kappa, Theta, and PiPhi were indisputablly the best houses in terms of being the hardest to get into, having the hottest girls, and being involved with the cutest frats. Alpha Phi and DG were strong houses with very cool and cute girls but definitely a tier below Kappa, Theta, and PiPhi. Tri Delt and Chi Omega where lower middle tier, and KD was the absolute bottom; KD couldn't even get girls to join, which as was a shame because there were a lot of nice girls in that house. I guess things have changed . . .
