sigma kappa really isn’t a bad sorority to be in even though they’re not “ranked” high. they’re decently sized and still participate in events so you’ll still get that greek life experience. girls are a little awkward and they’re not the prettiest bunch + don’t have the highest attendance at parties but they all seem to really promote sisterhood which is a great thing. the bad apples that spend their time hating on other chapters though really gives them a bad rep :(

nice girls with a decent amount of diversity who are more focused on their sisterhood, academics, and philanthropy than anything else. some girls are more social, some aren’t but it’s pretty balanced in my opinion. girls are more cute than hot but that’s not a bad thing! they’re starting to show up more to events and we love to see ittt!

Most of them seem to mean well but obviously some don’t. It’s embarrassing how obsessed some of their members are about their image and they’re not accomplishing anything besides dragging the rest of their chapter down with them. Honestly if you wanted to join a sorority for the popularity boost even though those AREN’T the right reasons to, you shouldn’t have settled with one that you’re proving to be unhappy in.

don't you guys have 5 philanthropies to worry about instead of rankings? maybe SK wouldn't be considered bottom if ya'll just recruited better and hosted events that people actually want to go to. some of you girls are so bitter and for what??? lol

Dislike: Fake Waste of time and money. Joining was the least smart decision of my college career.

Really not sure what to do. The girls here are so nice and i know that it’s up to me to take it upon myself to attend events and stuff but after everyone warning me that they rarely even participate in events with other chapters I feel like it’ll be hard to branch out alone

Ugh, ZTAs are literally all so nice it doesn’t make sense why people are trying to bash them. To any PNM reading: you should’ve already heard that sorority life is what you make of it. Every chapter has mixers, hosts philanthropy events, has formals, participates in greek week, etc. It’s up to YOU if you want to branch out and show up to parties and mingle with other greek life members. Even if you end up in a sorority that’s considered less social, you’re not confined to that label. Take it from someone whose met plenty of ZTAs: They don’t deserve any of this hate (you can’t even tell who posts what on here anyway) and there’s not much to NOT like about them since they’re super genuine girls that are in it because they love their sisters and care about their philanthropy.

Yikes, not sure which SK has such a vendetta against ZTA that they feel the need to try and trash on them on here, but this only proves their crappy character. ZTAs are the sweetest and least problematic girls on campus who also host super successful events. They're more reserved, sure, but that's a lot better than pretending to be a PNM that's experienced a death from breast cancer to try and put this chapter in a bad light. Tiers literally do not matter to a girl who loves their chapter but ofc "someone" feels the need to try and say ZTA is bottom tier to try to make themselves look like they're "higher". If you're still so bitter about not making it into a "top" house that you have to try and drag an unproblematic house through the mud, you shouldn't be in greek life.

Sad that they’re now known for falling off and being the next bottom house :( and then they ruined their rep even more by being nasty to other chapters :/ Save your money if you want to be involved over the next couple years because it’s not looking good for them
