I say wait until fall because, like you said, not every house does spring recruitment. If you wait until fall you get to experience every house and you may enjoy one you didn’t think you would or one that wasn’t spring recruiting. It’s just one more semester of waiting but it flies by!

Nott every house has a spring pledge class. The ones who had a lot of girls drop are the ones that take spring pledge classes, which isnt usually what people want. For instance Zeta had a huge one this past year. So id wait till fall

Houses do spring recruitment for lots of reasons. A lot of fall graduates is one.
Being a sophomore in fall is harder to get bid than transfer in spring. If you know members in a house and they are doing spring recruitment go for it.
You don’t have to accept bid, or may not get bid but worth a try.
Either way, # 1 thing I would tell you is get great grades from wherever you transfer from.
Higher the transfer GPA better shot you will have.
