There’s a reason why Sig pi is the only fraternity that rushes in the fall and the other nine rush in the winter, they attract the guys that are so desperate to be in a fraternity that they’ll take the first option that’s given to them, but when the other fratnerites rush they become irrelevant, as seen painfully so by their 2018 pledge class.

The thing that sets apart Pike and Sig Pi is that the girls I know were genuinely excited to go to Pike's formal this spring but kinda just went to Sig Pi's because they were invited and figured since Sig Pi is a top tier house they'll have friends from their sorority along with them. They're top tier because they own a lot of the houses on Bellomy and throw a couple of quality parties each year but everyone knows that, aside from a few cool ones, these guys are the fakest in the Greek System and only really care about partying and getting girls. If you want real brotherhood in your fraternity I'd look elsewhere.

Regardless of what you say, as long as Sig Pi remain the housing monopoly on Bellomy, they will never drop below top tier. It’s been like this for years. Not a big fan of these guys either but it’s a reality

That's probably true but the main problem is that housing is pretty much the only thing that keeps Sig Pi at top tier. It really says something that Pike only has 1 house on Bellomy (pent) and they're equally if not more popular than Sig Pi. Whereas Sig Pi needs like 4 or 5 and relies on fake tactics like throwing their best parties early on and rushing fall to stay a top tier fraternity here. I went to both of their rush events (ended up at a different house tho), and I can say Pike felt like much more of a genuine fraternity/brotherhood than Sig Pi, which felt super fake and try hard to me. I think other guys are starting to see it too, as more people dropped Sig Pi's rush and waited until winter this year. But yes they will probably (unfortunately) remain at least upper mid as long as they have so many houses.

they are somehow still considered top tier (due to their one day party where they pay a ridiculous amount of money to get an average soundcloud dj) but are clearly falling. Not popular with the freshmen anymore as guys are choosing to rush the other frats in the winter (there are a few better ones) instead and less and less girls are hanging out with them. My prediction is that sig pi will be mid tier in a year or two.

Mid tier to say the least. Could be top tier but their 2018 pledge class is so fake and so annoying that they lose a lot of credi.
