All this stuff that's been posted about this fraternity is completely ridiculous, it's almost certainly salty kids who didn't get a bid. I'm not a TKE myself, and am not saying they're a top house or anything, but they're a decent frat with cool, down to earth guys and fun parties. No one should pay attention to anything posted on this website, it's all dumb. Go out and meet the guys in every house if you''re interested in rushing and wanna find the best fit for you.

Known as the rich kid frat, some nice guys and fun parties but pretty douchey vibe overall. Not super involved in the overall greek/scu community either, the guys tend to stick to themselves/don't have many friends outside of their house and only associate with the same group of dg/aphi girls.

These guys are in a really unfortunate situation in that they are unable to find a good house. It's a shame because there are some good guys, and if they had come a little sooner and got at least one good house, we may be looking at an entirely different zbt. Sadly, all their houses are far which means they can't really throw fun parties as few people want to go that far if there are better parties closer to school. This causes them to be seen as a bottom tier fraternity that isn't really worth joining, so they must resort to bidding in a bunch of weirdos for numbers that further diminish their already mediocre reputation. Definitely a shame for the good guys here, they are in a fraternity that is seemingly going nowhere.

From what I’ve seen of Greek life here, Kappa is a great option if you hate typical high-strung sorority girls but still want the sisterhood experience.
