Rush as a transfer

Transferring to GW this fall from an SEC school where Greek life was huge and I’m curious if things are different here- is it better to wait and rush formally in the spring or try and do COB in the fall? I don’t care about ranks I just wanna meet girls I like and get along with (preferably in the fall) but I’m hearing that not a lot of chapters do COB in the fall? Lmk

don’t do cob it will be like one or two chapters that are just struggling w numbers. most sororities cob only right after recruitment. do formal for sure it will be way more lowkey than sec rush
