new ranks

Hey guys! So I'm a freshman who decided to pass on sorority rush this year to get to know the groups better. Could you guys rank the sororities for me?

HOWEVER, I don't want this to be like the normal ranks or tiers. Frankly, I'm not basing my choice based on how attractive my sisters are. I want this ranking to be based on sisterhood and friendship. I want to join next year to find good friends who will be there for me no matter what, friends who will be in my wedding and go to Vegas with me for my 21st birthday. Let me know what you think!

Don't go DG. That's about it. The rest are pretty genuine. Although you sound like a KKG if you're already planning to rage in Vegas for your 21st.

But in order of CLOSENESS?

1. AEPHi (they get hazed so it brings them together)
2-10. The rest

I was really looking to avoid hazing as much as possible, and I've heard awful things about AEPhi. I don't think that hazing makes you close at all.

And I don't know about raging. I can't see many people saying no to a 21st birthday in Vegas.

No offense but hazing actually makes you wwayyyyy closer. Any tough experience like that makes you tight. You don't have to believe me but aephi's actually do have the strongest sisterhood on campus even if they do suck. Also, you do realize not everyone has the money to fly off to Vegas, right? AEPhi and KKG are probably the wealthiest sororities so if you want friends with money, join them.

Aephi literally is the closest sorority. Also Phi Sig. Seriously, you have to remember that the "better" a sorority is the more it's based on cattiness. You can't have a hot sorority where all the girls actually like each other. You just can't. I'm in a top chapter and while yes I have best friends in my chapter, there are plenty that I hate. Everyone in my chapter hates other girls in it, that is just a hallmark of a good sorority. It's a sad truth. However, no matter how much my sorority has internal drama we will never be as bad as DG.
