updated fraternity rankings

No one has posted a new set of tiered rankings to reflect the shape of Greek Life in 2013. So here's the perspective of a smarter-than-average sorority girl.
Top, and here to stay: No one. We've hit the point of critical mass, when traditionally "good" fraternities have developed such a jerky reputation that they're universally hated.
Top, but on the decline: PIKE, PiKapp, SigEp. PIKE is dropping fastest, no doubt. They'll never live down the pledge incident from a few years ago.
Mid, but on the rise: Sigma Chi, Kappa Alpha. Like them or not, Sigma Chis are leaders on campus, and their rush events attract hundreds. Kappa Alpha is small, but a genuine group of guys. Great pledge class, good values, and moving up in the world.
Mid, and here to stay: Kappa Sigma, PhiPsi, Beta. KS and PhiPsi are interesting cases. KS, although growing, is growing wayyyyy too fast for their own good. They're going to have massive internal conflict and identity issues. PhiPsi would be moving up, if it wasn't for the incident last semester with two girls. And Beta is Beta.
Mid, but on the decline: ZBT, DTD. Nice guys for the most part, but girls simply don't dig their physical appearance. The last few pledge classes haven't helped.
Bottom, but on the rise: Sigma Nu. They're getting a great house in a great location. Best of luck.
All others are bottom, and here to stay.

Is more about more than numbers. Sigma chi regularly takes like 20 spring kids.

Get over yourself. Not everyone wants to rush the top three. A lot of us purposely avoid them, not out of fear, but because is rather be in a real fraternity

Has a townhouse, excellent parties as well as the best upperclassmen. Just because they had a down year doesn't mean Pike has them outclassed completely.
Sigep keeps a low profile (perhaps understandably) but they pull.
Pike's incoming juniors are horrible.
Pike is one bad class from being #3 on campus.

SigEp keeping a low profile is just as much true as 9/11 being an inside job. Pike doesn't even need any extensive advertising. They don't even need to go out of their way to impress. As long as you two lesser frat packs keep feeling the need to push yourselves into the spotlight, you'll just confirm that you are being dominated by the true alpha males.
Also, AEPi is still #2, regardless of any criticism people have about them. Like Pike, they don't even have to try. Rushees will flock to them because they are top houses.

Cute actually has a point. You can argue AEPI is a top fraternity on campus.
You could also argue that Phi Psi or SigEp are better though. This is getting a bit stupid at this point. Pike has the #1 spot locked down for now, but 2-4 could really be any combination of AEPi, Phi Psi and SigEp depending on who you ask and how rush goes next year.
