Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at George Washington University - GWU 3.4 LOL I mean, better than Aphi, amirite? In all honesty, I like a lot of them, like others have said, they're a mixed bag, but that's because they're new. If they try hard enough, they'll improve soon, especially considering the number of chapters could be about to get a lot smaller.

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at George Washington University - GWU 2.9 They’re a pretty mixed bag. There are some pretty girls who could probably be in higher tier chapters and some other girls who clearly couldn’t. The members are pretty involved with other student orgs (Dems, student theater stuff, ESA/APO). Not sure much about their new PC but we’ll see if this semester/the PC changes anything.

They’re a pretty mixed bag. There are some pretty girls who could probably be in higher tier chapters and some other girls who clearly couldn’t. Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at George Washington University - GWU 4.5 I spend a lot of time with theta girls and I love ALL of them. Its rare to see all the sorority members love each other or at least care for one another. Theta makes strangers feel like theyre home. I joined another sorority before theta existed on campus and I wish I had waited. They might be new to gw but they have something special - dont disregard them just because of that. Youll gain a REAL sisterhood, not one that pretends.

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at George Washington University - GWU 1.9 Anyone else think it's weird how many girls are dropping/transferring out of theta? including some of their more prominent members, whether it be attractive girls leaving for higher ranked theta chapters at better universities, or girls who basically ran theta leaving? And they keep talking about not doing COB once they do spring recruitment, but if more and more girls keep transferring, how will they ever reach total?

They freak out any time someone calls them "the new sorority" even though they've literally only been on this campus 2 semesters and haven't been through a formal recruitment. There's nothing inherently wrong with being new, and it can explain a lot of their behavior, because they're still trying to figure out what being greek on this campus really means. Prime example: the social media thing. They eventually took down those controversial posts because they realized it was a mistake, but learning how to run a chapter instagram is a new skill and they can blame their ignorance on being new at this. They also run around saying "we're not like other girls" rather than creating a unique identity, which is a rookie move, especially considering they're extremely basic. maybe with their new social media chair things will get better.

They definitely have a lot of random girls who didn't fit into the "traditional" greek life scene at GW but I've also met a decent amount that seem pretty fun and normal. Their sisterhood definitely doesn't seem amazing at this point but they've done pretty well in terms of numbers considering they've only done informal recruitment at this point, and their fall pc looked decent overall. The upcoming recruitment will be huge for determining the direction they go in
