this frat was more open than elitist. but they possessed elements of selectivity too. definite vibe of soccer and northerness. they were pretty respectable. i don't think being a pi phi would descredit you with chicks nor would it automatically land you tons of chicks. so that's why i call them respectable. the name doesn't hurt you.

another very open frat. non-selective. non-conformist. not really interested in the whole frat thing in the traditional sense. pretty diverse.

this frat is half elitist/half open. these guys all had a definite vibe to them. gal-pal. non-threatening. they were definitely respectable. almost "premier" but not quite. i'd describe them as "normal," which at w and l is a high compliment.

this was an open frat. very negative reputation in eyes of other frats. which amused me because i highly doubt the guys in this frat were even trying to go for or accomplish whatever the other frats were going for. like making fun of a baseball player for being bad at basketball. not even the same game. that is my stance on sigma nu.

this was not an elitist frat. they had all types of people, even foriegn ones. they partied, but did not put frat first. they were more smart alcoholics. more open minded than most frats. constantly fluctuating in numbers like all the frats of their ilke do.

this was another premier frat. almost like phi-delt but less southern and with more lacrosse players. definitely cared deeply about adhering to the values of the general fraternity system.

this is an elitist southern fraternity. they probably played up the elitist/south thing more than any other frat. they seemed to care about backgroud/connections more than personality type. which is why they are slightly nerdier than phi delt. they were another "premier" frat.

this is another elitist frat, though its more open than phi delt or sae. a lot of athletes, and mostly southern, maybe like 65-35 pr 60-40. at least in my day. girls did not consider this frat a loser frat.

this is another open frat. mainly guys who are not into frats. non-selective. huge fluctuations in numbers, as i recall. at one point the smallest frat and at one point the largest frat, numbers-wise, when i went there.
