when gr is only used to hurt each other...

It really bums me out to see how many nasty comments and fake nicknames are created on here to pull each other down. We all went through rush and found the house that was right for us, but I know that every one of us loved something about another house too! I was surrounded by tears on pref night when girls had a hard time making a decision because they were between two amazing houses. That is how the greek system should be, not a bunch of mean girls who will bring each other down in the hopes that it will put them at the top.

As women we get enough insecurities bestowed on us that we really don't need to put them on one another also.

I was afraid to write this post and say that yes I am in what is considered a "top house" because I knew there would be someone out there with a negative comment about me. I chose my house and my sisters because its what I wanted to do, and where I felt at home, not because they had a good ranking on GR or because the boys want to mix with us. That is such a pathetic thought to me and it hurts to think that there are pnms out there actually reading and absorbing this crap when I know you are all great and beautiful and will find the perfect house for you, REGARDLESS OF RANK.

Maybe we could work together on creating a better overall reputation of greek life at USC instead of just focusing on our own houses'.
