Limits of mercy parable
by: noahA man drowning saw a hand reach down to save him. He grinned, grabbed a knife, and slashed upward. The hand withdrew, then returned with fire. The drowning man died not because he was unloved — but because he chose the knife, and the bullets that killed him ended up hurting a lot less than drowning anyway.
