Yeah pretty sure that’s how you get blacklisted

‘This reader waited to the very last minute to read this script and my take is that they rushed through it as their coverage does not seem to have understood most of what the script contains, though I don't know that they rushed, I only know they waited until the last minute.

But I want you to know something else and it's about me. I take no joy in writing this email. And here's where I'm going to take a step back.

The Blacklist is a miracle for the aspiring screenwriter. Practically every script that has been optioned, sold, or produced due to coverage services has been because of The Blacklist and your founder who I have profound respect for, Franklin Leonard. And I don't even need to look that up. I know who he is.

If I want to criticize the quality of this review I can do so directly, but if I do so disrespectfully under the assertion that you just don't get it and I'll make it without you, I'm only hurting myself.

That said, the quality of this review is horrible. Point blank, period.

But I won't make demands. It's not who I am and even if I feel I am justified in calling you out, that's not who I am. I am not going to demand anything.

What I will do is make a firm but fair request because readers are overworked, underpaid and at the end of the day even a truly great script might just not be everyone's cup of tea.

My request is - $50. Because poverty.’
