I go to SC and I am in a top sorority. I can assure you that Lambda is pretty much every guys dream bid. Few get the chance to be Lambdas and there is a good reason. Lambda only takes the top of the top guys. Girls know that any guy that gets a Lambda bid is husband material. A lot of guys that Lambda passes on end up at Sigma Chi
